Lift up and remove the steel bracket securing the purge solenoid valve (PSV) to the inlet hose. Leave the PSV attached to the valve and move it out of the way.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.papdoc.gr\/photos\/MSCAIDIY\/2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.papdoc.gr\/photos\/MSCAIDIY\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>4. Unplug the MAF sensor from the wiring harness.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.papdoc.gr\/photos\/MSCAIDIY\/3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.papdoc.gr\/photos\/MSCAIDIY\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>5. Unclip the MAF sensor wiring harness from the side of the air filter housing<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.papdoc.gr\/photos\/MSCAIDIY\/4.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.papdoc.gr\/photos\/MSCAIDIY\/4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>6. Loosen the hose clamps securing the inlet hose to the throttle body and the air filter housing. Remove the air filter element<br \/>\n9. Remove the lower air filter housing by removing the two nuts securing the housing to the chassis.
